What is the telling sign of a healthy body? Most people would answer is a well defined and well toned six pack abs on your mid stomach. When asked if you wish to have a washboard abs appearance, almost everybody will said yes, but what do you really need to get abs?


Most of the time, getting perfect abs involves eating healthily. When eating, what you really need is a balance meal, which should consists of nutrients, minerals, vitamins, carbohydrates, proteins, vitamins as well as sufficient water intake. The temptation to go carb-less on meal time is strong, because the common understanding is that without carb we will then turn to our stored fats for energy. However there can be adverse effect if you have a carb-less diet, because your body will react to it as though you're starving and will in turn slow down your metabolism rate. Besides eating healthily, you also need consistent exercise and workouts. Nobody is the same as you, therefore do not expect results based on another person's result. Find out what works for your body, and develop your own workout routine from there on. Set a realistic time frame for yourself to get in shape and stick to it until you succeed. Always refer to a workout program if you're new, because a good program will tell you which exercises are good for what and how to do it properly. Do not run the risk of injuring yourself in the process of training!

Should lower abs exercises be your number 1 priority in your ab building quest? Preferably no because you should be working out your body as a whole instead of isolation workout. This way, when you have actually manage to shred off those stored fats in your stomach, you'll have a more proportionate feel to your whole body instead of just weird looking abs in an inappropriate body frame. Finally, eating healthy and consistent exercise should start your abs building process and accelerate your fat burning process. Always finish what youve set out to do, because if you fail to see through your plan, chances are youll fail to see any six pack abs anytime soon too!
